Project Description

This 10,000 sf building was initially constructed in 1950 for an auto dealer in downtown Clarksdale, Ms., in the heart of the Delta and home of the Blues.  A small residential studio was added within the building re-using salvaged warehouse light fixtures, exposing brick walls and the concrete warehouse floor.  The remainder of the building is used for a contractors warehouse, shop, and offices.  A unique gas line pressure measuring and recording device that was left in the building by the local gas company who occupied the building in the 60’s and 70’s was relocated and is featured in the main space.
