Project Description

This tenant improvement was far from typical. Alan B. Cohen, Architect designed the building for the Client with most of the ground floor to be what ultimately became Journeyman Meat Co. as a USDA meat production facility, restaurant, butcher shop, micro-winery, and wine tasting room for the Client’s winery.  The second floor included five hotel rooms with a rooftop garden.  Just prior to opening the Client was approached by the Single Thread team about leasing most of the building for their new restaurant and inn.  The main floor was remodeled for the now three Michelin starred restaurant and Journeyman took a small portion of the ground floor for their retail sales and tasting room.  A production facility was built off site.  Interior design was developed by Mark Wilson of Wilson Ishihara Design with Alan B. Cohen, Architect, preparing construction documents and acting as Architect Of Record.
